WandererAstro FETA: High-Payload Electronic Focuser & Tilt Adjuster
The WandererAstro FETA M92 combines automatic tilt adjustment with high-precision motorized focusing, helping astrophotographers achieve a consistently flat, sharply focused image field. Its compact design supports imaging trains up to 17.6 lb (8 kg), while automatic zero detection and NINA integration make it ideal for advanced and remote observatory setups. All other equipment imaged are for demonstration purposes only and not included with the FETA.
What Makes the Wanderer FETA M92 Different
Reliable Starting Point
The FETA M92 features an absolute mechanical zero position with automatic zero detection, making it more reliable fo remote operation. While the light-leak prevention fully encloses the structure, blocking any direct light from entering.
M92 & M85 Interface
Both sides feature native M92 female threads, while two provided adapters allow either side of the FETA to be converted into M85 male, M85 female, or M92 male connections for flexible integration.
Stackable Wanderer
Even when stacked with the WandererRotator, the total system thickness is only around 35mm, making it one of the thinnest focuser rotator systems on the market. *All other equipment shown is for demonstration only and aren't included.
New Patent FETA Design
With 4 mm of adjustment travel, over 23,000 steps per millimeter, and an effective positioning accuracy of 0.2 microns, the FETA M92 delivers exceptional precision. Its body measures just 20 mm thick, with recessed M92 female threads and only 15 mm between mounting surfaces—showcasing WandererAstro’s uncompromising industrial design.

With an 8 kg (17.6 lb) payload capacity—measured with the center of gravity 100 mm from the FETA M92—it can support most full-frame and medium-format imaging trains.

The three-point independent adjustment mechanism provides automatic tilt correction and synchronized operation as a high-precision motorized focuser, delivering greater versatility across a wide range of imaging setups.
