The 8th slot is engineered to accept either an additional unmounted filter or the included dedicated dark filter, enabling seamless dark-frame acquisition without changing your imaging train. This design allows users to capture calibration frames on demand, at any time and in any environment, improving workflow efficiency while maintaining precise filter alignment and system integrity during extended imaging sessions.
