Please note: This adapter is made to very tight tolerances that are demanded by William Optics' customers in Asia. The downside of this is that this adapter can be hard to mount on and unmount from your camera body as it requires a fair amount of effort. The benefit, however, is that there will be no play/wobble between these components, which can be present in more economical aluminum T-rings. If you find mounting and unmounting this too stiff for your liking, you might want to consider an aluminum T-ring instead.
- Super high precision "COPPER" T mount for Nikon full frame cameras.
- Perfect fit for WO-Star71, RedCat51 and all WO flatteners.
- This T-Mount has 48mmx0.75 female threads with outer hard coating and is made from high quality copper material by CNC which has a perfect fit without any gap or tiny shakes (Note: Aluminum T mounts can not achieve such high precision).
- NOT for use with the smaller, more common standard 42mm T-threaded adapters and accessories which have an M42x0.75 thread (42mm diameter x 0.75mm pitch)
- Optical path length: 8.5mm
- Perfect for use with M48-threaded corrective telescope optics (correctors and flatteners) that have a back focus requirement of 55mm. The Nikon F camera's FFD (flange focal distance) of 46.5mm plus this T-ring's optical path length of 8.5mm will get you to 55mm without the need to any additional adapters.
