It features a tapered 1.25-inch under-cut barrel to minimize the chance of slippage when not completely secure in the focuser. Note: The barrel of the 1.25-inch MARVEL eyepieces are threaded for M28.5x0.6 filters – in most cases, they should be compatible with standard 1.25-inch filter threads from other manufacturers.
