With 8 elements in 6 groups, this series offers a flat-field and well corrected view of the Moon, planets, or your favorite deep-sky targets.
Looking for something for iltra-wide views of lunar craters, planets or larger deep-sky objects? The MARVEL 20 mm 2-inch eyepiece boasts a generous 20 mm eye relief. It’s ideal for larger deep-sky observing, while also being suitable for planetary and lunar observing as well. Fully multi-coated, edge-blackened optics serve up max light transmission and knockout contrast, while the pop-down rubber eyeguard shields your eyes from stray light for truly immersive viewing.
Signature Features:
- 80° apparent field of view for immersive views of your favorite targets.
- Large >30 mm eye lens & field stop to create wider, more comfortable views.
- Lanthanum lenses deliver brighter, sharper, color-true images with reduced chromatic aberration.
Optics that Don’t Miss

80° Ultra-Wide Eyepiece Series
If you’re looking for comfort while using higher-magnifications the MARVEL series is for you. The impressive 80° FOV creates a sense of floating in space, known as the “spacewalk”effect! You will get a bigger window to see more of your favorite targets up close and personal. The 20 mm eye-relief and 30.5 mm lens diameter makes these truly enjoyable to use, with minimal strain during long sessions.
Built to Last
The attractive green-and-black housing is made of aluminum and coated with rubber for a comfortable, secure grip. The eyepiece’s 2-inch barrel (on the 14 mm and 20 mm versions) allows for a wider true field of view and more comfortable viewing, especially on telescopes with larger focusers, compared to standard 1.25-inch barrels. This larger barrel works with the wide-angle design to let more light and image area reach your eye, making deep-sky observing more immersive and enjoyable.
