The LS60FHa retrofits a compatible customer-supplied ED refractor for daytime solar observation and is easily removed for night use. A Lunt blocking filter must be used at all times — this is a safety requirement. Select the correct blocking filter for your telescope and intended use (sold seperately):
- B600 — up to 540mm focal length, 1.25" or 2" diagonal
- B1200 — up to 1,080mm focal length, 1.25" or 2" diagonal
- B1800 — up to 1,620mm focal length, 1.25" or 2" diagonal
- B3400 — up to 3,060mm focal length, 2" straight-through tube
