This retractable LED flat-field panel from Pegasus Astro provides a consistent, even illumination source for telescopes up to 120 mm, making it easy to capture clean flat-field frames for astrophotography and photometric work! The adjustable lid rotates from 0° to 270°, allowing you to dial in the ideal position while also serving as a protective cover to help shield your telescope’s front element from dust and moisture when not in use. Dimmable LED Panel
Unlike typical flat-field panels, the FlatMaster Neo offers true 0–100% brightness control, letting you fine-tune illumination without makeshift solutions like paper spacers. Brightness is adjusted remotely and can be saved per filter, so your preferred settings are always ready when you need them. With its high-output design, the FlatMaster Neo easily supports short flat exposures, even with demanding 3 nm narrowband filters, delivering reliable 2–3 second exposures at f/7 for fast, repeatable calibration.

The panel can be remotely positioned anywhere from 0° to 270°, with a user-defined maximum opening angle to help prevent contact with nearby accessories or observatory structures.
