FlatMaster Neo 160
The FlatMaster Neo 160 is a retractable LED flat-field panel designed to provide uniform illumination for telescopes up to 160 mm, helping capture accurate flat frames for astrophotography and photometry. Its motorized lid adjusts from 0° to 270° and doubles as a protective cover against dust and moisture. Built from lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum, the FlatMaster Neo 120 combines reliable calibration with durable telescope protection.

Dimmable Panel
Unlike other panels in the market, the FlatMaster can adjust its brightness from 0 to 100%. Store the brightness per filter and immediately retrieve the value you need. The Neo can go up to high brightness levels, easily supporting short exposures (2-3 seconds at f/7) with 3nm narrowband imaging filters.
Retractable Panel
The panel allows remote controlling and adjusted between 0° - 270°. To prevent collisions with obstacles, you can set a custom maximum opening angle. Designed to fit any telescope up to 160mm, Neo features a specialized silicone flange that ensures a light- and dust-proof seal around your telescope.
One Cable Operation
Only one USB type C cable is needed to provide power and control to your panel / lid. A single button allows you to easily open and close the lid.
Smart Environmental Protection
The built-in temperature and humidity sensor monitors conditions and calculates the dew point, automatically adjusting the integrated dew heater to help prevent moisture buildup. Heater intensity can also be controlled manually and saved for future use. The separate light sensor detects changing ambient light levels, allowing the lid to automatically close at sunrise to protect the telescope optics.
Wi-Fi Control and Standalone Dashboard
The device features built-in Wi-Fi, allowing you to connect and control it either via its own Wi-Fi hotspot or as a client on an existing network. Its integrated web dashboard is accessible from any mobile application, providing seamless and intuitive control.
FlatMaster Wi-Fi Dashboard
Once connected to the FlatMaster Wi-Fi hotspot, you can access the control the panel light brightness by simply entering “flatmaster.local” into any web browser. This feature is operating system-independent and works seamlessly alongside USB control, offering flexibility and convenience across a wide range of setups.
