Sky Rover 155mm General Purpose Stone Series Telescope
The Sky Rover 155GPS is a premium large-aperture apochromatic refractor designed for serious visual astronomy and advanced astrophotography. Its massive 155mm triplet ED optical system delivers outstanding light-gathering power, razor-sharp stars, and exceptional contrast for viewing planets, galaxies, nebulae, and lunar detail with stunning clarity.
Built for demanding imaging setups, the 155GPS features a heavy-duty 3.7" dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser and a redesigned large-format Camera Angle Adjuster (CAA) for smooth framing and precise focusing with modern astronomy cameras. The telescope is also compatible with dedicated flatteners and reducers for full-frame astrophotography performance.
A robust aluminum tube, retractable dew shield, internally baffled optical tube assembly, and upgraded three-ring mounting system give the 155GPS the stability and rigidity needed for high-end observing and imaging sessions alike

Optical Advantage

All-New CAA System
The rear rotating mechanism of the optical tube has been removed, and the tube now connects directly to the focuser, providing greater mechanical axis stability compared to previous versions. The focuser has been redesigned for improved assembly standards, ensuring a more secure and reliable operation. At the rear of the focuser tube, a new v2 field rotator is integrated, featuring laser-engraved angle markings and smooth, precise rotation.

Three-Ring Mounting System
The Sky Rover 155GP S uses an upgraded three-ring mounting system to provide extra stability and improved balance for the large 155mm optical tube, especially when using heavier astrophotography equipment. By distributing weight more evenly across the telescope, the additional support ring helps reduce flexure and maintain better alignment during long imaging sessions, creating a more rigid and reliable platform for both visual observing and advanced astrophotography setups.
