Takahashi f/3 0.6x Reducer for FSQ-106ED and 130ED Telescopes
The Takahashi f/3 0.6x reducer unlocks the wide-field imaging potential of the Takahashi FSQ-106ED and 130ED refractor telescopes. By reducing the focal ratio to an ultra-fast f/3, this reducer dramatically increases imaging speed while expanding the field of view—allowing you to capture large nebulae, sweeping star fields, and faint deep-sky objects with shorter exposure times and greater efficiency. When paired with the FSQ-106ED, it delivers an effective focal length of approximately 320 mm, while the FSQ-130ED is reduced to roughly 390 mm, making both systems exceptional wide-field astrographs.
Built around an advanced 4 element, 3 group optical design. Utilizing a high refractive index, low-dispersion glass with fully multi-coated surfaces to effectively suppress chromatic aberration and coma. Despite the significant focal reduction, Takahashi’s optical correction maintains sharp, high-contrast stars across a 44 mm corrected image circle, making it well suited for full-frame imaging sensors.
