Superb optical quality is one of the features of this finderscope with a wide 6-degree field of view. Thanks to 50 mm aperture, you'll be gathering 11th magnitude alignment stars with ease. That's two full magnitudes deeper than most star charts!
For viewer comfort, the eyepiece screws in and out of the body to focus and locks into place with a knurled ring. Look inside! The Takahashi 7X50 finder has an etched reticle with extremely thin crosshairs that do not obscure alignment stars!
The eyepiece part of the 7.5x50 Finderscope can be replaced with the GT Mount Adapter # TKA00556 (sold separately). In that case, a commercially available eyepiece or a Φ31.7mm cylindrical guiding camera can be attached. Note also that a compatible bracket # TKA00563 is sold separately.
