Takahashi FCT-114DF Fluorite Triplet Apochromatic Refractor
The Takahashi FCT-114D is a precision-engineered fluorite apochromatic refractor that delivers exceptional optical performance for both demanding visual observers and astrophotographers. As part of Takahashi's next-generation FCT-D series, it pairs the company's legendary optical design with a lightweight, highly portable tube assembly. The result is outstanding color correction, razor-sharp resolution, and exceptional contrast across the entire field of view.
Optimized for dedicated astrophotography. The FCT-114DF uses the same exceptional 114mm f/7 fluorite triplet objective as the DS model but adds a larger heavy-duty focuser with a standard dual-speed microfocuser. Designed to better support modern imaging accessories and larger camera sensors, it minimizes vignetting and provides improved stability for demanding deep-sky imaging setups.
