ToupTek GPM Series Guide Camera!
Professional monochrome autoguiding camera featuring Sony IMX662 STARVIS 2 sensor with exceptional sensitivity for precise telescope tracking and advanced astronomical imaging. Without the Bayer matrix of color sensors, the GPM662M captures 100% of incoming light at each pixel, delivering approximately 3x higher sensitivity and superior resolution. This makes it the ultimate choice for serious planetary images using filter wheels and RBG/narrowband filters!
Sony IMX662 Mono Sensor
The GPM662M features Sony's IMX662 mono back-illuminated sensor with exceptional infrared sensitivity. With read noise as low as 0.4e⁻, full well capacity of 33.8ke⁻, and dynamic range reaching 75.2dB, the GPM662M delivers outstanding performance for astronomical applications. The color sensor provides natural color reproduction while maintaining excellent sensitivity across the visible spectrum.
Included Infared Set
Designed for urban astrophotography under light-polluted skies, the infrared galaxy set offers a new way to capture the otherworldly beauty of the Milky Way. Equipped with an 825 nm infrared pass filter and a lens, it allows you to effortlessly photograph the galaxy from anywhere, at any time — no telescope required.
Extended Infrared Sensitivity
The monochrome GPM662M extends its spectral response to 1100nm, providing exceptional performance in near-infrared wavelengths. This extended range reveals atmospheric details on planets that are invisible in visible light, making it invaluable for advanced planetary imaging with methane and IR-pass filters.
Built-in ST4 Autoguider Interface
The GPM622M features a built-in standard ST4 autoguider port for easy connection to the autoguider. This design simplifies guiding system configuration, reduces cable connections, and improves system reliability. Compatible with mainstream guiding software like PHD Guiding, MetaGuide, Nebulosity, MaxIm DL, and others for precise autoguiding control.
Comprehensive Connection Options
The GPM series cameras offer versatile connection options designed for seamless integration with various telescope setups and guiding systems. The diagram below illustrates the complete connection architecture, showing how the camera interfaces with your mount, computer, and other astronomical equipment for optimal guiding performance.
12-bit ADC and Intelligent ROI
Hardware-based ROI increases frame rates for guide star tracking. Digital binning from 1x1 to 8x8 in both stacking and averaging modes. High bit-depth analog-to-digital conversion preserves subtle tonal gradations and provides 4096 levels of brightness data. Ensures stable data transmission and effectively reduces amp-glow, maintaining maximum frame rates even with multiple cameras operating simultaneously.
