OPTEC Hand Control for Focusing Rotators
The Optec Hand Control is a convenient, vibration-free way to adjust focus while remaining at the telescope, making it an excellent upgrade for visual observers and hands-on imagers. Compatible with the FocusLynx Hub, Gemini, and Hercules Focusing Rotators, this updated controller replaces both the earlier FocusLynx and Gemini hand controls while also remaining fully compatible with Starlight Instruments FocusBoss II control hubs. Featuring dedicated IN and OUT buttons, a bright two-line display, and an integrated electronic fine-focus knob, it delivers smooth, precise control without touching the telescope and disturbing your view.
Designed for intuitive one-hand operation, the built-in rotary encoder allows fine focus adjustments while keeping your eye at the eyepiece for faster, more accurate focusing. The controller connects directly to the hand control port on the FocusLynx or Gemini Control Hub, or plugs straight into the Hercules body using the included telephone-style handset cord.
