OPTEC TCF-Leo Low Profile Focuser with FocusLynx Controller
The Optec TCF-Leo is a low-profile yet exceptionally robust 3-inch focuser designed for telescope systems where back focus space is limited. With a body width similar to a typical 1.25-inch eyepiece, the TCF-Leo is an excellent focusing solution for the Celestron EdgeHD series and other telescopes with tight flange-to-focus distances. Powered by Optec’s proven FocusLynx control system, it delivers precise electronic focusing and can be expanded to control a second focuser, with optional WiFi and hand controller accessories available for added convenience. Standard configuration includes the camera-side OPTEC-3000 3-inch drawtube, providing a solid, wide-aperture connection for imaging accessories.
Its uniquely shaped housing is engineered to fit neatly between the lock and focus knobs of the Celestron EdgeHD 11 OTA, while the compact 2.2-inch (55 mm) center-to-edge profile offers excellent clearance for large cameras, filter wheels, and accessories. The TCF-Leo also pairs exceptionally well with the Innovation Foresight On-Axis Guider and can mount directly to the 3-inch port of the Optec Perseus Instrument Selector for ultra-fine focus control of large-format imaging systems. Additional drawtube options are available, including a DSI 3.5-inch receiver and a 3-inch split clamp for Wynne Correctors, allowing you to tailor the system to your exact setup.
