The Optec Pyxis 2" GEN3 Camera Field Rotator gives astrophotographers precise electronic control over camera orientation for easier target framing, guide star acquisition, and repeatable imaging setups. This third-generation design features a full 2.0-inch (50.8 mm) clear aperture and uses 1.6 inches (41 mm) of back focus, making it a compact solution for many imaging trains. The unit is fully ASCOM compliant and supports guide star acquisition, image framing, and alt-azimuth de-rotation capable operation when used with compatible software. Native Serial, USB, and Ethernet connectivity provide flexible integration into modern observatory and remote imaging systems. The telescope side includes an OPTEC-2400 2-inch nosepiece, while the camera side includes a male M42x0.75 T-thread, with optional adapters available for expanded compatibility.
